Probably the same person as the one on the Middlesborough War Memorial 1914-18 plaque also shown just as Strangeway, R

Any clues anyone? - Oct-2020 Yes ... the Register of Deaths for Elham in Kent has an entry for a Robert Strangeway aged 19 in the corresponding quarter. This strongly suggests that this is one Army death from World War 1 that has a civilian record.
