The Thomas Strangeways who married Ellen Henderson at Ford, Northumberland in 1808 was thought to belong to this tree but new evidence makes this unlikely.

Going Back Even Further

The obvious conclusion is that this Berwick on Tweed family line traces back to the medieval family documented in the Strangeways, Donaldson, Selby pedigree - but things are rarely that straight-forward in family history research. This story has more chapters as yet unwritten.
